Cách đây 2 tuần, tôi có một buổi chạy HM khá thê thảm do ảnh hưởng bởi cái nóng đầu mùa khiến cơ thể mất nước nghiêm trọng. Vì vậy, anh Mèo đã giúp tôi thay thế các buổi tập gần đây thành heat training để cơ thể chóng làm quen với nhiệt độ này. Bài tập heat training đầu tiên được diễn ra vào ngày hôm qua, với cự li 10km. Sau khi warmup, anh Mèo, anh Long và tôi xuất phát lúc 12h30. Dù chúng tôi xuất phát vào giữa trưa nhưng buổi chạy không được ưng ý vì sau 3.5km trời bắt đầu dịu lại và lất phất mưa khi đến km thứ 7.

Ngày hôm nay, tôi và anh Mèo tiếp tục tập bài heat training với cự li dài hơn, 33km. Ngoài việc giúp cơ thể thử sức với thời tiết khắc nghiệt khi long run, chúng tôi luyện tập để chuẩn bị cho buổi chạy trail tại rừng Hiếu Liêm – Mã Đà sắp tới. Trước buổi chạy, tôi ăn một gói mì, đi ngủ lúc 1h. 7h dậy, tôi làm một tô miến vịt và chuẩn bị cho buổi heat training bao gồm: băng lụa urgo, 2 đôi vớ, 2 thanh Snickers và 1 chai Aquarius. Tôi và anh Mèo có mặt tại Sở Thú, sau khi làm một ly café thì cả hai bắt đầu warmup và xuất phát vào lúc 10h20.

| Ban đầu, chúng tôi hoàn thành 5km với pace 5:30 – 6:00. Đến km thứ 6 thì thân nhiệt cơ thể bắt đầu tăng lên, với phương châm “Uống trước khi khát” chúng tôi mua tạm chai Vĩnh Hảo Lemona trên đường Nguyễn Hữu Thọ vì không có Aquafina. Công nhận chai này làm tôi, đặc biệt là anh Mèo khá ngán vì nó ngọt hơn cả 7 Up, càng uống càng khát thêm! May thay, nạn khát kết thúc khi chúng tôi đến đường Nguyễn Văn Linh, cả hai được hạ nhiệt bằng Aquafina và Aquarius. Sau 15′ nghỉ đầu tiên, chúng tôi tiếp tục tiến đến cầu Phú Mỹ. Vì nắng gắt, lần này chúng tôi chạy chậm hơn, pace 6:20 – 6:40. Đến đỉnh cầu, gần 14km, cả hai tranh thủ ngồi hóng mát, lúc này chân tôi như muốn bốc lửa. Sau 10′ hạ nhiệt, chúng tôi selfie và đổ dốc, tiếp tục buổi heat training. |

| Sau 2km, chúng tôi ghé vào quán café võng bên đường Vành Đai Trong, giải khát bằng một ca trà đá và hai trái dừa, đồng thời lấy nước đá massage chân. Lần này chúng tôi nghỉ khá lâu, tận 55′. Hôm nay đường Vành Đai vào trưa có rất nhiều xe tải lưu thông dẫn đến tình trạng nhịp thở của tôi rối loạn do thường xuyên hít phải khói xe. Cố gắng hoàn thành 5km với pace 6:00 – 6:10, đến giữa đoạn Đồng Văn Cống (21km), tôi bắt đầu cảm thấy uể oải do say nắng, thở không đều từ đoạn Vành Đai Trong, mất nước, và chân tỏa nhiệt lần hai. Cả hai dành 15′ để nghỉ. Sau khi giải quyết hai chai Aquafina trong vòng ba nốt nhạc, chúng tôi hướng đến Mai Chí Thọ, con đường quen thuộc của SRC. |

| Đến km thứ 23, cả hai dừng chân để nạp năng lượng, và tiếp tục sau 10′ với pace 6:30. Đã trễ nên anh Mèo chạy khá nhanh, cách tôi tầm 30m. | Cảm nhận về buổi chạy:
– Hài lòng: Giữ pace đều, không bị chấn thương, được trải nghiệm buổi heat training thật sự. – Chưa hài lòng: Chưa quen với cảm giác nóng ran ở bàn chân, thở loạn nhịp ở một số đoạn, nghỉ nhiều lần do mất nước.
