Thật tình là HCMC Run 2016 này mình không có cảm xúc gì nhiều lắm, vì tham gia với mục tiêu về đích vui vẻ hoàn thành cự ly 21km và tận hưởng không khí một race chính thức nó như thế nào. Bên cạnh đó đầu gối đang chấn thương nên không dám ép bản thân try hard quá sợ “nghỉ chơi” cả năm luôn thì toi.
Tuy nhiên vẫn viết bài này để kỷ niệm mốc lần đầu tiên tham gia một sự kiện chạy bộ chính thức. Mình cũng ghi lại một số cái chưa được ở khâu tổ chức cũng như kinh nghiệm rút ra cho các race sau.
Những chuyện BTC HCMC Run 2016 làm được:
- Tạo sân chơi và quy tụ được một lượng lớn Runners điên khùng máu lửa;
- Tình nguyện viên (TNV) xinh gái, biết nói “Fighting, Chiaki” mỗi khi vận động viên…mệt;
- Đường chạy có hướng dẫn và TNV đứng khá dầy<== Runner mới tham gia lần đầu không sợ lạc đường;
- Khu vực hồi sức sau khi về đích ổn: nước uống bao la, có foot massage, có bồn lạnh ngâm chân;
Chip gắn trên BIB của mình không hiểu lý do gì không đo được kết quả. Cũng may đã dự phòng mang theo điện thoại nên có các chỉ số tương đối lưu lại nhằm có kế hoạch luyện tập sắp đến.
Xem kỹ hơn thống kê chỉ số thì mình có một nhược điểm là không giữ pace ổn định trong suốt cự ly. Sẽ cố gắ

khắc phục vấn đề này trong Race tới và áp dụng chiến thuật Negative Split xem hiệu quả thế nào.
Cập nhật: @Phúc chạy chung với mình có kết quả nên kết quả tính theo BIB có thể là 2h43′ (mình cán đích trước Phúc khoảng 20s)
Kinh nghiệm rút ra cho các Race tới:
- Ngủ đủ từ 6 – 8 tiếng trước race;
- Không nhậu trước race;
- Nâng niu nắn nót BIB và hi vọng nó đo được kết quả khi về đích;
- Lưu ý BIB qua vạch đích phải tháo ra nếu không có thể bị tính sai thành tích: do bạn có thể đi vòng lại thảm đích nhiều lần;
- Giữ Pace chậm hơn pace mục tiêu từ 10 – 30s ở 5km đầu, sau đó tăng dần đều và giữ ổn định;
Các vấn đề BTC HCMC Run cần cải thiện:
- Số lượng người tham gia > 6000 nhưng chỉ có 1 ngày lấy BIB: điều này gây khó khăn ít nhiều cho những ai bận hoặc không ở Sài Gòn vào thời điểm phát BIB;
- Trạm tiếp nước giai đoạn quay về quá thưa hoặc hết nước: từ km 16 – 20 có 2 trạm tiếp nước trong đó chỉ 1 trạm có điện giải, điều này theo mình nếu bố trí thêm 1 trạm nữa là ổn vì Runners thường đuối ở giai đoạn này;
- Chất lượng áo Finisher 21km chưa tốt: áo vừa mang về đã tróc keo ở phần in trước ngực, một là BTC đưa ra hướng dẫn bảo quản (ủi, giặt…) để tránh tình trạng này hoặc tìm đơn vị gia công áo tốt hơn;
- Chip time có vấn đề: riêng bản thân mình là không có kết quả?!, một số anh em khác thì kết quả sai lệch thậm chí 3h cho cự ly 10km (WTF?!);
- Tại sao phải checkin (đánh dấu X) lên BIB trước khi race?! Gây rối loạn cho những ai tới sát hoặc trễ giờ. BTC không hề thông báo trước chuyện này.
- Nên xuất phát đúng giờ (6:00 AM) hoặc sớm hơn một chút để tận dụng không khí mát mẻ. Nếu có khởi động hay làm nóng thì làm trước 15′ khi xuất phát. Xem đồng hồ giờ G đã điểm, ai cũng nôn nao “bung lụa” tự nhiên BTC bật nhạc dance nhảy nhót đến 6h15′;
- Những cái khôi hài linh tinh khác: kết quả do BTC đưa ra bị lộn tên và họ đối với những ai là VN, Gun time < Chip time;
Hoàn tất HCMC Run 21km là một mục tiêu trong năm 2016. Mình đã làm được. Cứ phát huy cái tinh thần #toichinhphuc này để hoàn tất các mục tiêu khác trong năm nay.
